A union is only as strong as the members who show up and this weekend, Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) /SEFPO #Local351 showed up.
Delegates. Alternates. Observers.
Not because they had to be there, but because they chose to be part of the work. The conversations. The decisions. The sometimes messy, always necessary process of building a union that actually reflects its members.
We don’t build strong locals by keeping people on the sidelines. We build them by opening the doors wider, making space, and bringing more voices into the room, especially the ones that haven’t always been heard.
We’re proud of every single Local 351 member who attended the Region 3 Regional Meeting this weekend. This is what solidarity looks like in practice.
